In 2009, I started a contract gig at the Wall Street Journal in the digital department. I was tasked with developing LIVE online programming. That meant piloting shows, doing focus groups, choosing anchors, and coming up with segment and set ideas. Once we launched, I executive produced the show. It was a rewarding experience that gave me a sneak peak into the future. I learned a lot about an entirely new frontier for news. Here’s a link to one of those early NewsHub shows.
